Secure Lockdownä

With one button press, lock down your Inteset system freeing it from the possibility of viruses and corruption. Inteset's exclusive Secure Lockdownä feature allows access only to Windows Media Center and Internet Explorer. The system prohibits downloads, the installation and running of external applications and scripts, as well as access to administrative functions.

		Blu-ray/HD-DVD Playback
		Experience the latest home movie viewing sensation in High Definition (720p and 1080p) and 7.1 surround sound. Blu-ray and HD-DVD releases are now available for many popular movies. So that you're not tied down to a particular format, Inteset offers a high speed Blu-ray HD-DVD combo drive on its servers. In addition, this drive allows you to burn up to 50GB of media on a single Blu-ray disk.

		Multi-zone Music
		Use Inteset’s exclusive Multi-zone Music module for MCE and/or your advanced control system* (Crestron, AMX, etc) to take advantage of the 3 additional audio zones available in the Maximus TCD00-Si. As an optional add-on, Inteset has built a full two-way communication protocol for communications between Windows Media Center and advanced control systems. You can control the Inteset Multi-zone Music Player, My Movies module, and Windows Media Center with a Crestron, Vantage, AMX, Exceptional Innovation or other control panel.

The precision machined, aircraft aluminum alloy heat sink chassis and internal heat-pipe cooling technology, allows for silent operation using today's most powerful Intel-based Coreä 2 Duo CPU.

The system can be purchased for rackmount or shelf-based installations.

		Dual Display Capable
		The Maximus is equipped with two independent video outputs. This means that you can be browsing the Internet on one screen while watching HDTV on another. Or, you could work on a spreadsheet while watching your favorite movie. You can slide content from one screen to another. Video outputs support a variety of connection interfaces including DVI, VGA, component, and S-Video so you can be sure the Maximus will work with nearly any display.

		Future Proof Upgradeability
		The Maximus is designed with upgradeability in mind. The server uses the latest technologies that support upgrading CPU, video, and other supporting hardware. The enclosure design provides the optimal mix of A/V interfaces vs. computer upgradeability without introducing complicated back panels and layers of internal interconnects. Ultimately, it allows for easy access for swapping hardware components by a qualified service technician. The Maximus TCD00-Si is ready for Microsoft Vista™, HD-DVD, and CableCARD.

		Photo Viewer
		Harness the true capabilities of your digital camera. The Maximus gives you the opportunity to display the thousands of pictures you now have in your digital photo library. You can implement the playback of your photos as a screen saver, or use the advanced features of Windows Media Center 2005 to display pictures in a particular play sequence using smooth transition affects with narration while listening to your favorite music. The Photo View feature is perfect for display on your big screen during parties and family gatherings.

		The Maximus TCD00-Si system provides the same audio processing capabilities found in super high-end dedicated home theater receivers and sound processors. Because the Maximus audio system can process up to 8 distinct audio channels and uses the latest sound technologies such as Dolby Digital EX®, Dolby Pro Logic®, DTS-ES®, DTS NEO:6® you can bypass a receiver and connect the system directly to your 5.1 or 7.1 amplifier. In addition, the audio system has been THX® certified and has a 115dB per channel SNR , so you know you’re receiving the best possible sound output. 		The Maximus TCD00-Si employs Intel's new platform designed for the enjoyment of digital entertainment - Intel® Viiv™ technology. This platform delivers the multitasking power of a high-end Intel Core™ 2 Duo processor which guarantees smooth performance and complete control of your digital media. It also insures interoperability with other Viiv™ compliant devices.

		Ultimate Storage and Protection
		The Maximus boasts up to 6 Terabytes of RAID 5 protected, serial attached (SAS) or network attached storage (NAS) using the included Inteset TeraRAID™ storage system (attach TeraRAID™ NAS units for unlimited capacity). Store all of your DVDs and CDs and HD broadcasts at full quality. This completely silent storage system provides enterprise-level performance processing power and throughput to allow multiple high-bandwidth streams to your multi-room setup. The TeraRAID™ system is managed via a simple Web-based interface and has an advanced email alert system that warns of suspect hard drives and other storage hardware components. The Maximus also employs a redundant, RAID 1 operating system hard drive architecture that guarantees top-notch performance, reliability, and uptime.

		HDTV, SDTV and FM Tuners
		Within the Maximus are 2 ATSC tuners, 2 NTSC tuners, and an FM radio tuner. With the HDTV tuners, you’ll be able to receive FREE high definition TV from the major networks using an over-the-air antenna¹. You'll be able to rewind, record, and pause live TV. You can pause and rewind FM radio stations too. You can also connect the Maximus directly to up to 2 cable or satellite boxes ². In addition, for standard definition TV, leading-edge real-time video processing occurs to transform analog video and audio to digital.
