Inteset Home Theater Systems are All About Convergence

October 7, 2005 - Hanover, MA -- The surge to consumer electronics convergence is now driving the home theater segment.

The Windows Media Center Edition (MCE), which has been receiving high accolades, is the platform now used by many in the media-server market. But Inteset has taken it one step further.  As both a hardware and software company, Inteset has integrated its own software with MCE to offer more features than any other system.

Inteset's flagship server, the Denzel TP420-SD, incorporates an exclusive movie management/storage/playback module along with an impressive three zones of audio, in addition to standard MCE offerings. It has HDTV, SDTV and FM tuners, 7.1 surround sound, and compatibility with advanced control devices, such as Crestron and AMX.

The Denzel media library boasts up to two terabytes of protected (RAID) storage and is securely situated on a separate channel from the operating system, making it resistant to data loss problems that challenge other products.  In addition, the VANA VA6420-SD, Inteset's media extender device, can play back any material stored on the Denzel, including HD content. The VANA can also act as an independent system, having its own SDTV and FM tuners, along with a large hard drive.

Inteset received significant attention at the recent CEDIA trade show in Indianapolis. Electronic House Magazine named the Denzel and VANA "2005 Products of the Year" in the media-server category.  TechLiving Magazine has selected the Denzel as a "Hot Product of 2005"; CEPro has named the Denzel an "Editors Pick;" and Inteset was just informed it is a finalist in the media-server category for the upcoming Multi-Room Audio/Video (MRAV) Awards to be judged at the Electronic House Expo (EHX) in Anaheim in November.

Available via home-theater installers, the suggested price of the Denzel is $5,995, while the VANA lists for $2,395. For more information, contact your dealer, visit www.inteset.com, call Inteset at 866-543-3797, or stop by booth DR7 at EHX on November 7th for a demo.
