The Inteset TeraRAID IV-NAS A/V Storage server offers the ultimate in high speed, high capacity, protected media storage. It works in tandem with a residential network and the Inteset Phoenix Media Player line to provide one of the most advanced and affordable movie/media distribution systems available for the home.
High-capacity Enterprise RAID Storage – Store up to 860 DVDs or 180 Blu-ray movies with six terabytes (6TB) of usable RAID protected storage. Additionally, you can confidently store all of your other personal media including music, pictures, and home videos for playback on the Phoenix Media Player1.
As your media library grows, you can expand capacity by simply adding additional TeraRAID storage servers.
Remote Synchronization of Media Library – If you have two or more dwellings, the Inteset TeraRAID systems can be set up to securely synchronize with each other over the Internet. Loading content on one system will automatically replicate to the other TeraRAID systems2. Phoenix Media Players will automatically recognize the new synchronized content.
High-speed HD Video Performance – Up to 8 simultaneous Blu-ray movie streams are supported over a managed gigabyte network. At 73MB/sec write speeds, storing music and movies is time optimized. Store your Blu-ray movies, DVD movies, and music CDs in 25, 8, and 5 minutes respectively over your network3.
Media Library Web Access and Sharing – Access and share stored music, photos, and home videos over the web. Log into the system and listen to music and view your content from anywhere with any web browser4.
Hot Swap Spare Drive – In the event of a drive failure, simply swap the faulty drive with the spare one without the need to access software or powering off the system.
Media playback goes uninterrupted.
The media library RAID array will automatically rebuild itself in a matter of a few hours with no down time.
Inteset ships an extra hot swap drive with every TeraRAID unit.
Energy Efficient – The TeraRAID IV-NAS uses a mere 62W of power during peak operation. This is considerably less than an average desktop computer. The system can also be configured to power down during none-use hours, then automatically power back up during usage hours. Disk drives can be configured to standby mode to reduce power consumption during no activity.
Swappable Power Supply - The TeraRAID IV-NAS is equipped with an option of two power supply units, each of which is capable of supplying the power for the entire unit independently.
If a power supply fails, the other will take over ensuring continuous operation.
Failed power supplies can be replaced without turning off the server.
A/V Rack Design – The brushed aluminum faceplate, whisper quite operation, and 1U x 19" depth design is ideal for A/V rack installations
UPS Support – In case of power failure or sever power fluctuations, the server supports most UPS systems including those from APC and Tripplite via a USB connection. In case of a power outage, the unit will gracefully shut down when the battery reaches a certain drain level, then power back up automatically when normal power resumes.
Email and Text Message (SMS) Alerting – Be alerted via text messages or email regarding many potential events including failing or failed hard drives, power supplies, loss of power, low disk space, and more.
Inteset Remote Support – Inteset support technicians can remotely access and assist in configuration or troubleshooting tasks.
