Ultimate Media Extender

So that you may enjoy full access to your media library throughout your home, Inteset has built the ultimate media extender system. Not a typical Media Center extender, the Vana can play back nearly any content stored on your Inteset server and uses virtually no resources of the main server.

In addition, the Vana can function independently using its own 7.1 surround sound, 2nd audio zone*, Blu-ray*/DVD/CD player, HDTV/FM or CableCARD* tuners, and dual display features with up to 1TB of storage.

High-def DVR

The VANA comes with an HDTV digital tuner (QAM complient) and FM radio tuner. Or, you can receive Digital Cable from the built-in CableCARD* (no Cable decoder box needed). You'll be able to rewind, record, and pause live HDTV. With the optional Terabyte drive, you'll can store 125 hours of high-def recorded TV!

Blu-ray/DVD Movie Player

Experience the latest home movie viewing sensation in High Definition (720p and 1080p) and 7.1 surround sound. Blu-ray releases are now available for many major titles. Inteset offers a high speed Blu-ray* and DVD combo drive on the Vana Extender. You can also  stream Blu-ray and DVD movies from an Inteset server for whole home distribution.

Use Inteset’s exclusive, made for Vista Media Center, Movie Collection module to search and play back your Blu-ray* and DVD movie collection. You can also view cover art, description, ratings, year released, actors, and other information about the movies. Find your movies by title, genre, actors, directors, ratings, or personal favorites. Tap into Inteset’s FREE movie profile database to instantly update each movie profile.

Ultimate Music Jukebox

Search and play music stored on your Inteset server from the Vana. Renew your enthusiasm for those CDs you love but never play because it’s too cumbersome or you forgot you had them. Create playlists based on album, genre, artist, or your own mix. View album cover art, full album and artist descriptions, and spectacular visualizations while you listen.

You can also tap into the new source for music, Internet Radio. Now you have access to thousands of radio stations across the globe. In addition, you can take your music with you by easily and quickly burning it to a CD or transferring it to your portable media player.

Multi-zone Music Control

Control the Maximus's or Denzel's additional audio zones from the VANA VA6420-Si using Inteset's exclusive multi-zone audio control interface for Windows Media Center.

Photo Viewer

Harness the true capabilities of your digital camera. Vana gives you the opportunity to display the thousands of pictures stored on your Inteset server. You can implement the playback of your photos as a screen saver, or use the advanced features of Windows Media Center to display pictures in a particular play sequence using smooth transition effects with narration while listening to your favorite music.

Dual Display Capable

The Vana is equipped with two independent video outputs. This means that you can be browsing the Internet on one screen while watching HDTV, a movie, or another Media Center activity on another screen. You can slide content from one screen to another. Video outputs support a variety of connection interfaces including HDMI, DVI, VGA and component.

Elegant, Unobtrusive Design

With its small footprint, you can fit the cool and dead silent, but full featured Vana system obscurely in your bedroom.

The VANA dimensions are 11"(L) x 15"(W) x 4"(H).

Wireless Control

So that you can conveniently navigate through the system functions from the comfort of your lounge chair, a wireless keyboard/mouse combination plus a remote control designed for Windows Media Center is included. The keyboard mouse combo is capable of operation from distances up to 20' away. The remote control will operate all of the entertainment features of MCE and even control your cable or satellite box. It can also be set up to power up your display.

Flexible Networking

You have total versatility when it comes to networking connectivity with the Vana. The Vana comes equipped with a 10/100/1000 Ethernet port to provide you with blazing network connectivity for communication with other network devices.

Integrated Advanced Control

Inteset has built a full two-way communication protocol for communications between Windows Media Center and advanced control systems. On the Vana VP420-Si you can now control Windows Media Center and the Vana's 2nd audio zone (standalone model only) with a Crestron or AMX control panel.

Secure Lockdown^TM

With one button press, lock down your Inteset system freeing it from the possibility of viruses and corruption. Inteset's exclusive Secure Lockdown^TM feature allows access only to Windows Media Center and Internet Explorer. The system prohibits downloads, the installation and running of external applications and scripts, as well as access to administrative functions.
